Fishing trip

Aside from hunting, I love me some fishing. My Dad and I would go out all the time in our old boat. We would go to East Canyon reservoir and troll all the time.

So my dad has been talking about getting another boat for years, he finally bought a new fishing boat and we took it out and had a great time.

Hey no posts for awhile now, sorry about that. I have been busy with work and home life. I have been to the range a few times and have shot my new Walther PK380. Say what you will about Walther and the PK380 but I love it. The action is smooth and it shoots great. I took this shot of my lady shooting a 223 that the range master was shooting. He offered to let her shoot it a few time and she loved it

I am gearing up for my first Coyote hunt next week. I am going to my property in central Utah for the spike Elk hunt. I didn't purchase a tag this year but I am taking my 5 year old out for his first hunting trip and while I am there I will see what I can see and call in.  I will be sure to take a ton of photos for this blog.

Time at the range.

I spend an hour or two at the range this Saturday. I love time at the range. I was hot an crowed but I did okay in my shooting. I need to take more time and adjust the scope. I was grouping well at 50 yards.  Shooting an 180 grain bullet.

First time

I started this blog with the idea of following my new hobby of Coyote hunting. A few friends at work had the idea to look into coyote hunting after Utah raised the bounty to $50 on these predators. I have been reading about them and watching a few clips on YouTube I am excited about moving from big game to going after Coyote's all year round.
